Sailing or Motorboat Excursions
We have been working in the motorboat and sailboat rental industry for thirty years, but our knowledge of the area also comes from our curiosity and love for Elba Island and its nature. This is why we believe we can offer you a suitable proposal for a family or a small group of friends, to involve you in a taste of this beautiful and morphologically diverse area.
With a 7.5-meter motorized rubber boat, we have the opportunity to take a half-day excursion to the southern part of the island. The stops include the Calamita area with its mines and the colorful mineral-rich coast, the Stella and Lacona gulfs, with the magic of Capo Fonza.
Alternatively, you can spend the whole day touring Elba Island, extending to see the beaches of Cavoli and Fetovaia, then the wreck of Pomonte, with a lunch break in Sant’Andrea, with its beautiful granite rocks, the white beaches of the Argonauts myth in the Portoferraio area, to reach the east side from Cavo to Porto Azzurro, where you can still see the iron colors and the remnants of the mines.
For sailing excursions, with the Grand Soleil 40 “Karabà”, Enrico, a sailing enthusiast and Federal Instructor, will accompany you on a day trip, teaching you the basics of sailing, heading to the south side of the island, stopping for a swim at the Calamita mines, having lunch on board and, after a few more dives, sailing to search for dolphins. It is also possible to take courses aimed at learning or deepening sailing skills using a J80.
